Located in Southwestern Ontario, UBE Automotive North American Sarnia Plant, Inc. is a subsidiary of UBE Industries, UBE City Japan. Production at the facility began in March of 2002 after an eighteen month construction period. The installation of a forth rotary squeeze casting machine was completed in late 2002. UANA Sarnia is located at 21 UBE Drive in Sarnia, Ontario. The facility is less than one hour from London, Ontario; five minutes from the Bluewater Bridge to Port Huron, Michigan and only one hour from Detroit, Michigan. UBE Sarnia manufactures aluminum wheels for General Motors, Daimler Chrysler, Nissan, Toyota and Bentley using the UBE Industries patented squeeze cast process which guarantees a beautiful, tough wheel with top level quality.
